Last Saturday was the third SQL Saturday in Edinburgh organised by Jen Stirrup. And what a success it was again. From the enlightening line up of great speakers over a wide variety of subjects that used Business Intelligence to the Sponsors and the fantastic lunch it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
It was also for me my first time speaking at an SQL Saturday event. I was speaking on Azure PaaS technologies such as Azure Websites and Azure SQL Database.
I’m very excited by these very fast moving yet easily accessible technologies as they seem to embody the best attributes of ‘the cloud’, that is scalable, affordable and empowering.
